Must or Should

In this week’s Midweek Musings we will be thinking about when it is right to tell people what to do, and when it is right to explain the situation and encourage them to act accordingly.

To help us in this, we will reflect on government advice over face coverings and look at some verses Paul wrote in Ephesians.

Some questions to think about

  1. Do you prefer to be told what to do or for the reason to be explained to you
  2. How do you respond to each method?
  3. What does this say about good models of leadership?
  4. What implications, if any, does that have for how we are church together?
