CAP

christians against poverty (CAP)

(CAP) is a national charity offering free debt counselling support. Our friendly team will give you a listening ear in the privacy of your own home and provide a practical solution to your debts. The service is open to EVERYONE, regardless of race, nationality, religion, age gender, sexual orientation or disability. We also provide simple money management courses throughout the year.

Our team at Crewe consists of Tim Oakley (Debt Centre manager/debt counsellor), Chris Shackleton (Debt Counsellor) and Annette Crawford (CAP Money budgeting coach). We also have a fabulous team of volunteers who support the work of CAP and the families we work with, from the church here at WSCF but also from our partner churches in Crewe, HOPE Church and St Mary’s in Nantwich.

Since opening the Crewe debt Centre in 2011, we’ve helped hundreds of families deal with the stress of spiralling debt and seen many families become debt free. We’ve also seen countless people helped to manage their money better, learn to budget, save and spend well.

If you want to know more about CAP or feel you need help with your finances, please speak to one of the team or call the CAP Head Office free phone number on 0800 3280006 or e-mail timoakley@capuk.org

The work of the CAP Debt Centre in Crewe is partially funded by the
